# Update an issue

# Update an issue

Updates a certificate issue. Omitted fields are unchanged. For already-issued certificates this amends the issued record as appropriate.

## Authorization

Requires `certificates:write` (or full access) and an active Pro seat.

## Path parameters

  
- `slug*` string — Workspace slug Example: `acme`.

- `email?` string — New recipient email Example: `ada@example.com`.

- `expires_at?` string | null — RFC3339 timestamp to set, `null` to remove expiry, omit to keep Example: `2027-09-03T09:00:00Z`.
